After finishing his undergraduate degree in 2004, Jayse lived in Asia for four years, working in education and international relations. He returned to Canada to attend UBC Law in 2008 and has been working in the practice of law in Abbotsford, BC since 2011.
Jayse participates in many hobbies, such as miniature, board, and video gaming, snowboarding, tennis, and ice hockey.
Jayse studied political science at the University of Victoria. He believes strongly in social, environmental, and gender justice. He has been a member of pro-choice, pro-legalization, pro-union, and environmental groups.
Personal freedom from unlawful government intervention is a driving principle of Jayse’s life and work.
